-

-

-
Checkin If you’re asked to log in while opening the check-in page, you’re brought back to the check-in page afterward instead of the admin page.

-
Checkin Clicking Check In twice no longer records the same check-in twice — the button shows “Checking in…” while it saves.
-

-
Pairings page If your connection drops (phone sleeps, Wi-Fi hiccup), the page now reconnects automatically and refreshes itself as soon as it’s back, so you don’t miss results entered while you were disconnected.
-

-
Player Page Players with no games yet see a short notice instead of an empty table.

Optimized
-
Pairings Pairings are now checked only against this round for rematches, so rematches that couldn’t be avoided in an earlier round no longer cause players to be shuffled around in later rounds.
-
Pairings The top board in each score group now starts with the correct due color instead of always starting with White.
-
Pairings If pairing fails partway through, the round is cleared automatically, the error is logged to the activity feed, and you’re told what went wrong so you can fix it and pair again.
-
Pairings Deleting or editing a game, adding a game, and drag-and-drop swaps now verify the players and games belong to the section you’re working in.
-
Pairings Every active player is guaranteed a seat or a bye each round. Previously a player could be silently left out when score groups didn’t balance.
-
Pairings Forced byes now go to the correct player: players who missed a round or received a zero-point bye are no longer treated as having “already had a bye.”
-
Pairings Colors are assigned from each player’s actual game history, so players alternate colors properly and no one is given the same color three times in a row when it can be avoided.
-
Pairings Players are no longer pulled from distant score groups to fix a conflict; replacements come from the same or neighboring score group.
-
Pairings Team-block avoidance now always runs, even when one school makes up most of a section. Any same-school pairings that truly can’t be avoided are counted and shown in the activity log.
-
Pairings Late entries are added at the bottom of the seeding without reshuffling everyone else’s seeds mid-tournament.
-
Pairings All pairing actions (pair, post, delete game, add game, swap players, go back a round, send alert) now require a logged-in Tournament Director.
